I do. I can't help it. I still do this everytime I see one.
I guess it's a little left over thing from my childhood. For that split second it feels like someone, somewhere is listening and you could ask for that one thing you always wanted but could never get.

I wish on falling stars all the time but when they come closer......all it is is the lights on airplanes.
No wonder none of my wishes come true.

wow, that brought back a vision. i was on long island last weekend and everyone, and i mean everyone was wearing a sweat suit.
just makes me think of those old school photos from baseball games, where all the men were wearing suits and hats.

i always spot a shooting star out here in PA.
and the milkyway is the shizz nit. what blows me away is that there are other places where the light pollution is less.

im wishing on a star
to follow where you are.
im wishing on a dream
to follow what it means.
wish on all the rainbows that i see
wish on all the people who've been in dreams.
wishing on tomorrow, praying it never comes.
wish for all the loving we've never done.
i never thought id see
i time when you would be
so far away from home
so far away from me.
so think of all the moments that we spend.
i just cant let you go. from me you will bend.
i didnt mean to hurt you, but i know
that in the game of love you reap what you sow.
lisa may- wishing on a star baddest fuckin 50's song ever remade in to a light fluffy drum and bass track released on 10" vynal in 96 by sm:)e communications (urban shakedown mix) now and forever out of print.
there are partykids/dj's that would slit throats for that record, and i own it. go me.

I saw two shooting stars last night
I wished on them but they were only satellites
Is it wrong to wish on space hardware
I wish, I wish, I wish you'd care
