how to quit smoking?

honestly i'm tired of the filthy habit. but the last time i tried to quit smooking it was kind of by accident.

i was taking wellbutrin, it worded until finals in college. i started smoking again and once finals were over i drank like a fiend. the meds made me go out of my gord so i up and stopped.

the withdrawl (supposed to give it 2 weeks of weening) made me so sick i hated the smell, taste, etc... lasted for close to 3 yrs and i'm back. shit.

help a brother out

heres my advice, smply cut down your smoking to times when u cannot go without it, ie rite after a satisfying meal, first thing in the morning, or rite after you get a killer bj from some hot slut.

I can honiestly say i never smoked so i'm not shore if this will work, but give it a try,,,,,first get some stright edge friends(like me), second just don't buy them, you can't smoke without buying them, third if your friends smoke let them know your quitting and if they don't support you them forget them.

I smoked for 20 years and decided it was enough. Told my girlfriend that she wouldn't see me for 3 days and if I was mean or curt to her, it was because I was going totally cold turkey.

It sucked but it worked for me. And yes, I gained 20 lbs. But I haven't smoked in over 4 years.

if it was only so simple.

i've quit a couple times, but i always turn into the social smoker, into the annoying smoker(i don't buy my own b/c i quit so i'll mooch off you), and finally stop denying what i really am.

typically, i can quit when i'm physically unable to smoke, ie the flu. i'm having my wisdom teeth removed this week, so i figure this might be a good time.

I smoke when I'm drinking - so the last time I quit I just didn't go out for about 3 weeks. After that, just the smell of smoke was repulsing.

usually for me i try to quit every time i get a solid hangover. smoking always made me feel green in the morning, and i almost never smoke before noon, but get into the evening hours and i need to smoke.

its strange that this popped back up now since im on day two with no smokes. i rarely make it past 3 days, either because my roommate convinces me i'll be less of an asshole if i smoke, or i have a beer or two and the will power melts away. those who were ever in "the program" call it getting a case of the "fuckits".

but atleast this time i can go to work and nobody will smoke around me, since i work with one guy and he just quit too. i'm waiting to see who breaks first.
