If an athlete gets atheles foot.
What does an astronaut get?
------------------------------------------------------------------
If there's 7 birds on a wire, and you shot one down...how many birds would be left on the wire?
------------------------------------------------------------------
[Dont read this one if you are thinking about the second one]
A teacher ask's the class "If there's 7 birds on a wire, and you shot one down...how many birds would be left on the wire?" The boy raises his hand and says "none! as soon as the others heard the shot they would fly away." The teacher says "Well the answer would technicly be 6...but I like the way you think." The boy says "Well I have a question for you. If you see 3 ladies eating an Ice Cream cone. The first one is shoving the whole thing down her throut and getting it all over her face. The second one is licking around the sides slowly up and down, making sure no to drip a single drop, The third one is using a spoon to eat her cone. So teach which one you think is married?" The teacher thinks for a second and says "The third one?" The boy says "No, the one wearing the wedding ring...but I like the way you think teach."

Who's buried in Grants tomb?
Believe it or not, in a tomb, no ones "buried", they are encased in marble sarcophagus. In Grant's in particular, its both he and his wife.
I checked the place out once, its in NYC, kinda eerie and cool at the same time. The riddle is one of the first things discussed when you go on tour!

NEWDOOR = you already said the answer (one word)
Question is unclear. The answer is either two or three, but it depends on whether the drawer contained black-and-white socks, or socks that could be either black or white. I'll go with two, since it's a riddle.
Next three = ENT
The triangle thing is too much to focus on...but at least 21.

The actual Question is This:
Each Man Paid $10
Each Man got a refund of $1
The Bellhop Kept $2
SO:
We have Three Men who each spent $9. $9 X 3 = $27.
The Bellhop Has $2.
$27 + $2 = $29. Where's the other Dollar???

Why? Because .3 repeating + .3 repeating + .3 repating = .9 repeating.

Hmmm....let's see......5 lines x 5 lines = 25...so there are > 25 triangles.
For every line dissected by another line there are 2 addtional angles.
So the answer is 5X5X2= 50 triangles.

I remember posting this one long, long ago... But I love it so...
A polltaker goes to a woman's house and asks how many children the woman has, and what their ages are. The woman (annoyingly) replies, "I have three. The product of their ages is 36, and the sum of their ages is equal to the house number of my neighbor to the right." The polltaker goes next door, looks at the house number, returns to the woman, and tells her that he needs more information. She replies, "Well, my oldest child was named after the cat."
At that point, the polltaker says, "Thank you. I have all the information I need."
What ages did he write down?

A hunter arose early, ate breakfast, and headed south. Half a mile from camp he tripped and skinned his nose. He picked himself up, cursing, and continued south. Half a mile farther along, he spotted a bear. Drawing a bead, he pulled the trigger, but the safety was on. The bear saw him and headed east at top speed. Half a mile later the hunter caught up, fired, but only wounded the beast, which limped on toward the east. The hunter followed and half a mile later caught and killed the bear. Pleased, the hunter walked the mile north back to his camp to find it had been ransacked by a second bear.
What color was the bear that tore up his camp?

electric train is goin south on the track, and the wind is blowing north. which way is the smoke going?
It would blow north. Our electric trains had smoke pellets you could put in the locomotive so smoke would blow out.

second riddle....
Turn the first switch on for a few minutes and then shut it off. Turn the second switch on and then go to the other room. The light bulb that is warm is
connected to the first switch, the light that is on is connected to the second switch and the light that is off and cool is connected to the third switch.

Wow; hadnt checked this thread in a while. The answer, in my book where I got the triangle, is 35.
The see them, you only need to find there are Seven distinct triangles, and knowing this figure has a five part radial symmetry; each of those unique Seven is represented Five times, hence; 35.
Hint: radially symmetry is a bit different from mirror-image symmetry here.
[Edit:] Oh, and I wasn't gonna put this one down, because I thought it was a given, but i'm sure you've heard it. If not, answer this:
Brothers and Sisters I have none, but this man's Father is My Father's Son.
If someone said this to you, to whom would they be referring??

You're in a jail cell and there are two exits--one leads to freedom and one leads to death. There are also two guards; one a chronic liar and the other has never told a lie in his life. You can ask only one question to one guard. What do you ask in order to find out which door is the correct one?

you turn to either of them and point to a door....you ask the question "if i were to ask you if this door is the correct door would you say yes?"
the truthteller would tell the truth and the liar would be force to tell the truth because if he lied that would not be a lie or somesuch

close - if you ask guard A what would guard B answer if I asked "Which was the door to freedom" and then do the opposite as
a = truth and b = lie - answer = wrong
a = lie and b = truth - answer = wrong
so either way the answer is incorrect
