I'm curious about this. Simply i ask, what game shit do you people have pre-ordered or will pre-order.

I've pre-ordered WWE Smackdown 5: here Comes The Pain.

I will most likely Pre-order the PSX and possibly the PSP.

I pre-order just about every game I buy and every system for sure.

My most recent are Viewtiful Joe and Metal Gear Soild: The Twin Snakes. Gotta pre-order or you won't get it the first day.

Back in the day, pre-ordering meant something... I remember goin' crazy about pre-ordering all my favorite games. Now that the internet's come along, I haven't pre-ordered a game in ages. I got F-ZERO GX on amazon.com and it was here the day after it's official release. I waited an extra 24 hours and it was delivered to my door, without having to go through the trouble of pre-ordering.

Games are easily available on release day. I NEVER have a problem finding a single one. I will pre-oreder for cool free shit. I have Star Wars preordered for GC for the demo disk with the original Star Wars arcade game and preordered SC2 for the t-shirt and picture.

I'll prolly pick up Viewtiful Joe on my way home from work on Tuesday.

While we're at it. Lets discuss our favorite stuff we got for pre-ording.

Of course the Wind Waker package was the best. Ocarina of Time, Master Quest and a free stategy guide for free. That's pretty awesome. I think Mario Kart Double Dash is coming with Mario Kart 64.

I got a little Viewtiful Joe bobble head for pre-ordering. Nifty.

Don't get me wrong, pre-ordering for free shit rocks, but established series like Smackdown don't give away things anymore. I've noticed that with highly antisipated games they are harder to get release day (where i am anyway). Smackdown is one of those games. and i have my copy all ready, plus i like the fact its almost like a payment plan. A month before the release, you reserve the game with 20 bux and then the upcoming weeks add 10 bucks a week onto that reserve so by the time it is out, your all paid and ready for pick up

And with franchise games (like Madden and Smackdown), you're better off hitting up Toys R Us instead of a game store.
