Only about 4 days till the drop of the puck! So i figured we should start arguing about whos team sucks the most.

I say the Islanders are going to get a royal spanking by my Caps on Thursday. Ill be at the game too, overseeing it all.

The Rangers will suck as always, and the Caps will fail to advance farther than Round 1 in the playoffs granted they make it. The Isles will be the same way.

The Devils will have a good season but i doubt they can repeat a Cup win, who knows, noone thought Minnesota would go that far last year. I would take them to be a serious threat to any team now and possible playoff contenders again.

Wild Prediction = Nashville makes its first ever playoffs.

Anahiem falls flat on its face, Detroit too, and Dallas skates away to a Stanley Cup.

These are my crazy predictions, NOW LETS DROP THE PUCK ALREADY!

dont say that, it wont be the last...I too am a caps fan....hope they do something...

I agree about nash....

but i think the avs are gonna go for the west..rangers will do better
philly if it get some goaltending could go
and the sens were consistant last year.

Ohhhh Fallon....first the red sux not the Bruins? Well I have to admire your loyalty, but I can garuntee the Devils will finish several points ahead of the bruins. I think boston has a good team but my Devils did not win the Stanley Cup on luck.
I think you should all look at Colorado..the Avs have Sellane and Kariya back....they will be interesting to watch!

Ohh sucks to be an Isles fan. You got your asses handed to you tonite! It's hard to judge the Caps off this game, It didn't at all seem like the Isles weren't playing 100% and I think they gave up after we got up 4-1. But still it's nice to see the Caps younger guys getting involved.

But in other news, Garth Snow sucks, way to stay infront of the net for 2 of those goals, oh wait thats right, you went behind to clear and we stole the puck from you, HA!

Seriously though the Caps will get raped on the upcoming road trip.

agreed...since the caps loss...we've lost twice, and i think we've finally realized how to take the advantage of home ice...i really think the Isles could be contenders this season.

Does anyone actually believe that Messier deserves to be #2 in points now? It's really a Warren Moon situation here. A great player staying around for so long and passing people he has no business passing.

ok you ARE joking right??? Mark Messier is one of the GREATEST players of all time. He may have not been a goal machine but he has not only scored more clutch goal then I can remember, but his presence on the ice AND in the locker room is second to none. I am a Devils fan (hard core) but I respect Messier like almost no other player. He absolutely deserves to be #2 right behind his best friend Wayne Gretzky. Mark Messier is a TEAM player, and I think he absolutely deserves to be #2.

Do you think he's better than Gordy Howe or even Mario Lemieux? I think Messier is in the top ten players of all time the same way I think Moon is in the top 10 QB's of all time. But I just don't think he's #2.

LET'S GO ISLANDERS!!!!! has been an awesome last 10 to 14 days for them. beat the Devils twice, Flyers and the red hot Leafs. Now another great start tonight vs the Devils. hopefully guys like Parish continue to step up while Yashin is out.

i'll take wins like tonight anytime in the season we can get them. even with the streak they have been on, they are a 6-8 seed and not far from out. so every win counts. and thanks to the Devils we seem to be getting more than them lately than usual.
