Yes, thats usually what happens when the summer ends and we move toward winter. it gets colder. This is new jersey, and you've lived here how long, yet your shocked when the temperature gets below 50. i cant wait to hear how appauled your goin to be when its snowing out side LIKE IT DOES EVERY WINTER. the next person in my office that says hey can you believe its getting cold outside, im goin to ducktape them naked to our sign out front. then ill check in every 30 minutes and see just how cold it is.

Alrighty there Kid Rock...calm down! (laughs) Here is a way to deal with those people, when thery ask "Can you believe how cold it is..ect." Say..."Yes I can..I am god after all and can control all the weather" Make em ponder it. Or if they say "Cold enough for ya" Say "Why? Can you make it colder?"
But it DOES suck that it is this cold and it is the first few days of October. Usually it is like this a month from now. I would love to see Indian Summer before bitter winter.

Well, it's OK to say it when it first gets really cold, like it did last week. But yea, once it's full on fall, the Captian Obvious shit is stupid.

I find a lot of blue collar guys talk like this. It's just a way to start a conversation with another worker without being too weird. Instead of leading in with a "Hey! That's a pretty nice tool belt!" you just say "Fuck, it'f cold out this morning, ain't it?" And when they respond with a 'Fuckin' A you bet your balls it is!" you know you can chat with your coffee and roll for a few minutes.
