ER, What The F?

What has been going on with ER the past few years? I'm sick of these special episodes that take place out of the emergency room.

I don't need to see Dr. Benton helping poor kids, Dr. Green die in Hawaii, Dr. Cater and Kovac in the jungle and Nurse Lockhart deal with her crazy mother and brother.

Everytime they do one of these special episodes they suck and tonight I juts turned it off as soon as I noticed it was going to be all about Carter and Kovac in the jungle again.

Give me Dr.'s treating kids with STD's, give me people in horrible accidents, give me cops bringing in suspects to recive medical attention in the ER and not this crap!

I tried to watch that show but didn't get it.

But that does sound annoying. I guess they started to run out of ideas, so they did out of the ER shows.

The first two seasons were fantastic.

The moment the show jumped the shark? When William H. Macy jumped ship. After that, I gave up.

My favorite episode, however, is one actually out of the ER, even though, as this thread has gotten across, those episodes usually suck. The one I'm talking about is when Julianna Marguiles is in the convenience store gets held up by two gunmen, one played by Ewan MacGregor. That one was ohhhhhtaaaaay by me.

I gave up on that show years ago. Episodes fall into two categories. Soap Opera and Medical Drama. The soaps outweighed the medical and I lost interest.

But the Ewan ep rocked.

Speaking of SNL, I used to watch the repeats during SNL commercials, but since I dont watch SNL anymore, I dont watch this show. I really hated any scenes outside the ER, unless it was a big truck crashing into the ER. I didnt have any problem with that.
