Speaking of which, don't make the mistake I did and think you can substitute fourme d'ambert for a harder blue cheese in your salad. I ran out of stilton and used some... and... well, it tastes like vomit when mixed with balsamic vinegar. Really revolting. Oh well, I'm having a cheeseless salad.

Baby Swiss a semi-soft cheese, is similar to another variety referred to as Lacy Swiss, both having smaller holes due to a shorter curing time. As the cheese ages, the holes increase in size, thus Baby and Lacy Swiss both are younger milder cheeses, which have had the curing process altered so the acidity, temperature and length of the curing is adjusted to make these younger varieties of cheese. In Switzerland, the cheeses are made with unpasteurized raw whole milk and in the U.S. the Swiss cheeses are generally made with pasteurized milk. Baby Swiss is made with whole milk while Lacy is made with low fat milk. Both Baby and Lacy cheeses are cured for only a few months versus 9 months to 2 years for aged Swiss cheeses. Baby Swiss is a fine textured cheese providing a somewhat buttery and slightly nutty flavor. It is an excellent cheese for snacks, appetizers, sandwiches, fondues, quiches, pasta, and any cooked foods since it has good melting properties.

Me? I'm not so hungry anymore. This story is better than Phen-Phen.
Pet creepy-crawlies eat human owner (http://www.news.com.au/story/0%2C23599%2C22327263-13762%2C00.html)
A GERMAN man who lived with over 200 black widow spiders was fatally bitten by one and then eaten by his other pet creepy-crawlies.
Police found Mark Voegel, 30, in his apartment partially eaten by his pet spiders, several snakes, lizards and thousands of termites, Sun.co.uk reported.
Neighbours called police after becoming worried about the smell coming from Voegel's apartment.
Police were met by an unforgettably gruesome scene.
“It was like a horror movie. His corpse was over the sofa," a police spokesman said.
“Giant webs draped him, spiders were all over him. They were coming out of his nose and his mouth.
“There was everything there one could imagine in the world of reptiles.
“Larger pieces of flesh torn off by the lizards were scooped up and taken back to the webs of tarantulas and other bird-eating spiders.”
Voegel, who never invited people back to his small apartment, lived in the German city of Dortmund, Sun.co.uk reported.
Spider expert and animal cruelty officer Gabi Bayer said he kept creatures “that should never be allowed in a private home”.
“He had spiders so aggressive they are the equivalent of a pit-bull in the animal world,” she said.

I've seen it in the same aisle.
If I liked cashews consistently, I'd go for it, but since I don't, I stick with the natural PB.
On the episode Sometimes You Feel Like a Nut of Good Eats, AB made some cashew butter. Here's the recipe:
Cashew Butter:
2 tablespoons honey
1/3 cup walnut oil
10 ounces (approximately 2 cups) roasted cashews
1/2 teaspoon salt
Place the honey in a microwave-safe container and heat in the microwave for 15 seconds. Remove from the microwave and add the oil to the container. Place the nuts and salt in the bowl of a food processor and pulse for 5 seconds. Then, while the processor is running, very slowly drizzle in the honey and oil. Process until an emulsion is formed and the mixture is smooth; this will take approximately 45 seconds to 1 minute. If the mixture is too thick and doesn't spread easily, add a little more oil.

If that turkey salad tastes half as good as it looks you are one lucky chica!
I make turkey breast on the smoker sometimes. It's cheap and it takes up otherwise unused room in the smoker (next to the brisket or pork shoulder). I will be using it to make that exact salad next time I smoke one!
After having a big breakfast early this morning at the luncheonette... I decided on a small, boring lunch today...(some Australian, "Roaring 40's" blue cheese on water crackers).

I tell ya, salads are so delicious, fresh and creative here... you never find the same at a restaurant.
With entrees and salads or soups as main course between 3 people we always pay under 30 Euro. It is awesome!
You are making me jealous.

I really wanted a turkey panini sandwich. I went to the deli about 10 this morning. They told me the machine wasn't on yet. So I got roast beef, swiss with lettuce and tomato sandwich on great Italian bread.

My son has been bugging me to take him to this buffet. Rhino absolutely hates buffets (I am not a fan either) and refuses to go to them. I took Burkely and Greta there for lunch. I had a salad that tasted gritty, so I quit eating it. Then I tried some soup, but kinda tasted mushy. So I had chocolate milk, honeydew, and a choc chip cookie.
My kids had mac and cheese and ice cream. Um, hello? I could have made that at home for $0.79. Damn kids.

 Hence the problem. Some buffets I do not mind as long as they are in good parts of town and I see some attendant keeping things clean.

KFC is the one with the commercials for their $5 trays, which directly mocks Subway's $5 subs.
