ATLANTA - Former Calder Trophy winner Dany Heatley faces several charges of driving recklessly after he was involved in a high-speed crash that left teammate Dan Snyder in critical condition.
The one-car accident occurred about 10:30 p.m. on Monday night in the affluent Buckhead section of Atlanta. According to Atlanta police spokesman Sgt. Kevin Iosty, Heatley has been charged with serious injury by vehicle - a felony - as well as misdemeanor charges of reckless driving, driving too fast for conditions and striking a fixed object.
