Customers stay 6' away from strippers

I was just watching Tough Crowd on Comedy Central.

In California and Conneticut all adult club attendees must stay 6' away from any strippers.

This is the first time I've heard of this law and/or ordinance.

After looking it up online, I saw a headline from 1999 in Florida that said the same thing.

Has anyone else heard of these laws? Maybe I'm sheltered cause I'm in NJ and it doesn't have those laws.

it really depends on what county you are in in Fl. Each county has their own specific laws. Most counties are very close but some a little more strict then others. As far as i know, and have been told from reliable sources, there is not an actual written law stating that you have to be a certian distance from the customer. However you cannot touch the customer if your clothes are off and you cannot cross the customers knees. Which means you can be right at his/her knees, but you can't lean over them. But you can go to the side of the customer and get as close as you can, as long as you are not touching the customer.
