100$ for a game cube. PS2 and XBOX have dropped their prices about 20-30$ depending on the stores you go to. The sad thing is a game cube costs as much as a Game Boy Advance, and GBAs carry a 30$ tag to their games while NGC still have 50$. If nintendo just made some more games i would say its the superior system. It has excelent grafix and a good controller. The lack of games to play and the dvd, cd playback is what really hurts Nintendo. XBOX has the Network play on its side and PS2 has the best controller with grafix equal to that of XBOX. Anyone else agree?

Wow. if it played DVDs that would be a steal! Is the next Nintendo system about to come out or something?

What is the next console (by anyone, Sony, Microsoft etc) to be released?

PS3 (for lack of a better name) is expected to come out in 2005.

XBOX Next (the working name for its next console, as of several months ago) will probably come out around the same general time frame.

Rancor--PS2 and XBOX really dont have the same graphics. If you look at the same game side to side, the XBOX has better graphics--not a whole lot better, but noticeable

Nintendo is smart to drop the price this close to Christmas. At next to nothing it's got to help, hopefully a bunch of parents will buy it for the their kids.

As far as best system goes, Nintendo being 3rd in our country just proves how stupid we can be. Gamecube is superior in everyway except online, and I've got to give that to XBOX.

With 1 more Zelda, POSSIBLY another Mario, another Metroid, and other games-Mario Kart, Twin Snakes etc. You'd be crazy to think any other system compares to Gamecube.

Hopefully by the next generation of systems the consumers will start to grow out of only buying Mature Rated Games and actually looking for the best made ones.
