NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
Oh man, that totally blows. I really dig Robert Palmer. I saw him at the Beacon Theatre and he put on one of the best live shows I ever saw.
This sucks total ass. My heart goes out to his family.

In my opinion, there's nothing in this world beats a '52 Vincent and a red headed girl.

Heart attack? No -- it was probably from a "Bad Case of Loving You".

Oh that was so corny I should serve as a side dish for dinner tonight. (Yea I know...I should talk right?)
i remember buying the Power Station cassete tape and thinking it was such a kewl band. I did not like his Solo stuff as much but Bad case of Loving you is a great song, every time I hear it I wan tto drive my car at 90 mph. Geeze 54...same age as John Ritter. What the fuck is going on here? Almost makes me want to go to the Doctors for a checkup.

Man, they seriously are just dropping like flies... 54 again too. Just like Ritter. Only, now that I'm hearing he was an addict, I can't really feel sorry for him.

"The lights are off/And you're not home/Might as well face it/You're addicted to DEATH."
OK, I love that song. And here's why. When I was 7, my favorite movie to watch on video was the AWFUL "Transformers: The Movie". Now my parents had recorded it onto a tape that for some God-only-knows reason had "Solid Gold" on it at the beginning. The movie didn't start until like 5-6 minutes into the tape, and the VCR my brother and I had in our TV room wouldn't fast-forward or rewind, so we had to sit through the show's opening performance EVERY DMAN TIME we watched the movie (A good 3, 4 times a week for about two years straight)...and yes, it was Robert Palmer doing "Addicted To Love". I've heard that song at least 500 times and still get a kick of it...and his other 80's singles, even though they were all pretty much the same song. And at that age, surrounded by all those women and wearing those bitchin' suits and not seeming to give a damn, he seemed like the coolest guy alive. I think at some point I even wished he was my dad instead of my real father, but that's a tale for another day...

Its like in a 3 month period of time, half of Hollywood is wiped out. If I didnt know better, Id think its a conspiracy. Were John Ritter and Robert Plamer the same age? I heard that Robert Palmer was given a clean bill of health not 2 weeks ago. I wonder if they had the same doctor?

[color=purple]Dude, no joke. Go here (http://www.ronfez.net/messageboard/viewmessages.cfm/Forum/87/Topic/32133/page/John_Ritter_s_death_a_terrorist_plot_.htm) and learn that which Washington doesn't want you to know.

Don't forget Gordon Jump, who played a befuddled radio station manager on the sitcom WKRP in Cincinnati and made his mark in commercials as the lonely Maytag repairman, died Monday. He was 71.
