Kingdom Hearts is prolly the best game on the PS2. Can't wait for the sequel.

FF8 wasn't even a sequel, it was an abomination...

And at least square is admiting that their games are essentially movies, they're just taking out the "push X" feature to have to advance the story...

ive spent years salivating, and imagining what the sequel to the greatest game ever would hold, i have sat up at night picturing casting new summon spells, creating new materia combos, and releasing omnislash on unsuspecting opponents and now im forced to just watch, i dont even get to strategize? i dont know. im going to probably purchase the dvd the second it comes out, but i would still prefer playing the dman thing on ps2, or even making me buy psp for sole purpose of continuing the greatest plot devised in the 20th century.

okay this probably just idle speculation but the dude in the screen shots with short grey hair reminds me of sephiroth. his son, or maybe a younger version of himself, i dunno.....

ok i dont have all the details yet my friend is telling me that the new game informer has some info on what square is going to be working on these coming months. and that whole ff7 movie, that will be for free. y is it free u ask? because square is rereleasing ff7, only completely reformatted for ps2. and the movie will accompany the game. can u imagine summoning knights with ps2 graphics? or the final cutscenes in disc 1? its gonna be nuts!!! thank god for squaresoft!!!!!

also square is keeping the lid on ffxii, released a few screenshots but none of the main character.
