Sharman Networks Ltd., the company behind the Kazaa file-sharing software, filed a federal lawsuit Monday accusing the entertainment companies of using unauthorized versions of its software in their efforts to root out users.

this is the best thing ever. i know its petty and its out of anger, but hey, if you can find the means. they have been battling for years anyway. the good part is, all the people sued those cases will be dropped. they paid 20 bucks a month for kazaa, so they didnt steal anything, meaning the onus falls soley on kazaa. they didnt sue kazaa, so they wont win anything, and kazza will probably win this lawsuit, frivilous or not
