Giants almost lose shirts to the 'Skins

TextOk kids....this game was as sloppy as it gets. I know the Giants won, and I know I should be happy they covered the spread, but HOLY SHIT guys! They almost gave away the game AGAIN! I have never seen a team snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory as I have the Fossel-era Giants.
At least they got back to tackling this week, but the penalties were outrageous. Being up by 18 points and then giving it up to a team that had over 150 yards in penalties....well they are lucky. And what the hell is with Fossel going for the game winnig kick on 2nd down when they are inside the 10?? This guy definately lacks the testicular-fortitude to be an NFL coach. (Thanks Mick Foley!) It just shows he does not learn from his mistakes.
Yes the Giants won, but I for one am happy they have a bye week this week comming, they need the work. And a coach who does not immitate a see-no-evil, hear-no-evil monkey every time his team plays.

ok Jim Fassel's one of the better coaches in the league, and i'm not a giants fan. I think he's had a couple of bad games and that's all. Giants fans take for granted that they win the last 6 games of every season. The team is to blame. The coach can only do so much. Jim Fassel can't carry the ball for Tiki Barber, and i believe that Tiki's fumbles are what cost the Giants a lot of games. So give the guy a break. He's led the Giants to the Super Bowl and that makes him good in my book. (Despite the fact that my Raven's slaughtered them. GO RAVENS!!!!!)

as a giants fan, watching a game is more heart-wrenching than any written drama on tv today. jim fossel should get a script writer nomination.

The Giants have never been a team that can put the game out of reach. It's like they don't want the other team to feel bad.

The other thing is that the Giants always play to the competitions level of play. If they play a crap team, they play crappy, if they play a good team, they play good.
