I can only assume the title is on the line even though i didnt hear them say that. Brock vs Angle coming up oinSmackdown if you didnt know. Great idea. They should have a gimmick match every week.

Yeah, i wonder what will happen
Brock Lesnar d. Kurt Angle in an Ironman match for the WWE World title (Lesnar 5, Angle 4)
Really great match, lots of german suplexes (Angle did a 180 suplex to Lesnar, and even german suplexed Lesnar 4 times I think, went for a 5th but didn't get it)...Angle messed up a german suplex by not being able to lift Lesnar up completely, had to Dr0p him down and re-do it. Lots of regular suplexes by both men, Angle missed a moonsault, Lesnar got a top-rope arm drag while attempting the Shooting Star Press (while Angle was out on the ground befo he got back up)..Lesnar threw water all over Tazz and Cole..Tazz got up and the crowd was chanting for Tazz to go kick Lesnar's ass..too bad he didn't. Cole stood up for a few minutes, why I don't know.
Lesnar got himself DQed by hitting Angle in the head and back with a steel chair, but that allowed Lesnar to nail an F5 and pin Angle. Angle made Lesnar tap out once...Lesnar tried to F5 Angle's knee into the steel post, but Angle got out of it and actually F5ed LESNAR's knee into the post. In the end, there was a few seconds left as Lesnar was in the anklelock...crowd counted down and Lesnar didn't tap, he won!

remind me to never subject myself to an iron man match. Unless its HHH vs Hogan of course, that would be classic.

As someone who doesn't watch Smackdown... they're going ot spend an hour of a two hour show doing an Iron Man match? They've done them twice before on ppv and they didn't really work out all that well.

It was okay. You could tell Brock was wrestling injured as they had a lot of breaks in the match.

Wow, I really, really want to pretend I never read that, but I can't get that horrible and unfortunate string of words out of my head...

I enjoyed the match I guess but it no where near compared to HBK-Bret Hart Iron Man Match. That was amazing.
I hate commercials especially in this type of match. Why can't they have all their commercials in the first hour and have it run one hour straight? They could do that right?

for a match on TV i enjoyed it alot. i really like the missle Dr0pkick that Angle delivered. his ring work is so smoothe for a big guy. i'm also a huge fan of Brock Lesnar and him winning the belt was cool.

Good for free tv. Below HBK and Bret and HHH vs the Rock. The crowd sucked and took the wind out of the match. The tag match was the match of the night. Chavo was awesome.

i really like the missle Dr0pkick that Angle delivered. The height of that really surprised me. Nice job by both tremendous superstars.
It was a nice match Miguel but it was not up there with HBK-Hitman WM. Sorry but it was nice for television though.

Funny. I thought this was better than Bret/Shawn and I'm a big Hart fan. Bret/Shawn relied too much on rest holds.
Brock's selling here was awesome, particularly in the last 10 minutes. He was also a great heel. Angle added some high impact moves to his moveset, but as usual his selling was poor.
I would have loved to have seen a 1 hour mat wrestling match but this was much better than what could have been. Also the tag match ruled.

I would love to see a Brock - Angle exhibiton freestyle wrestling match. A real one with out a predetermined winner. I used to wrestle in high school and am a huge fan of amatuer wrestling as well professional wrestling and being that these are two of the best amatuers that this country has produced in the last decade or so I think it would be great to see. There are enough former amatuers in the WWE to possibly make a tournament sort of like brawl for all, but with out Butterbean.

If this isn't the prime example as to why Kurt Angle is the best thing in professional wrestling I don't know what is wrong with our society. This man can carry anyone to a great match (except maybe Big Slow and Albert.)

Funny. I thought this was better than Bret/Shawn and I'm a big Hart fan. Bret/Shawn relied too much on rest holds. Well maybe I am a tad bit old school but I preferred the wrestling holds in the Iron Man Match themselves.
But it still was a solid performance... hell of alot better than Triple H-Rock debacle.

By far, the best match on Smackdown ever.
I was never a big fan of the Hart-HBK Iron Man match. old school moves are one thing. But there were too many restholds. Probably because of HBK's coke binge the night before. Or because he was sore from getting plowed by Big Daddy Cool.

You know after I reviewed both matches last night in their entirety (well not Lesnar/Angle due to commercials) I have to change my vote.
I did not think any Ironman Match could beat out the two legends in HBk-Hitman but I think it did like many of you have said. It was a hell of alot more entertaining and the finish was amazing.
I hate to admit this but I think they pulled off a stunner in this Ironman Match to top the others prior. Brilliantly done by two tremendous wrestlers.
