Vam f'n piro!

He helped the Franchise win the match and shave down Raven! Wow, a Raven vs, Vampiro angle... this could actually be something special... and whenever Sting reappears... Three Way Clock Work Orange House of Fun Match between these underworld figures.... oh mercy me! *fans self*

I'll be damned! He actually looked in pretty good shape unlike the last time I saw him on EMLL. Welcome Vampiro to TNA! If you can stay in line and stay cool with K-Dawg I think this is a great signing.

What are your thoughts?

This whole show seemed to have been brought down by another asinine promo by Roddy Piper and Vinny Ru. I don't understand how they could only give Lynn and Styles under 10 minutes for a match, but waste valuable PPV time on Piper and Russo arguing.

And I'm very surprised that Raven didn't Dr0p a hair match against CM Punk elsewhere. I thought that was a money feud.

I'm glad to see that Vampiro is back in the states again.

Punk and Raven here Scheduled for a Hair vs Hair match in ROH a few weeks ago near Boston. Then a week or two before, they changed it to a cage match because Raven was contratualy obligated to the Hair Vs Hair match in TNA.

I'm ver glad to see Vampiro in NWA - he has a cult following, but I also feel that he has the sort of look, character and charisma that can catch on with the NWA fans and I think that an angle with Raven (there was some brief history there with them in WCW) could do well.

And I'm very surprised that Raven didn't Dr0p a hair match against CM Punk elsewhere. I thought that was a money feud

There's more to this story than you might think. It's actually something of a controversy going on in the smark community right now.

NWA has a video game deal going through. They're currently signing their talent to contracts, partly because of this deal (and also for matters of praticality and merchandising), but these contracts give NWA a degree of control over their workers - namely, they can decide whether they want their guys to work for other indy promotions or not. Now, a lot of NWA talent works elsewhere (to pay the bills, of course), and NWA likely won't stop that, BUT they will have some manner of control.

Namely, they will be able to ixnay angles such as the Punk / Raven hair vs. hair match that was going on in Ring of Honor. It's actually more complicated than that - since CM Punk is Raven's "friend" in NWA, NWA would put pressure on RoH to change their booking plans to make Punk Raven's friend there as well (as opposed to the rivalry between them in that promotion's storylines).

Some smarks are pissed off because this infringes upon the autonomy of their beloved indy promotions. I have no problem with this, actually; if NWA wants to make the next step to consolidate power and become an even more powerful / important promotion, they MUST make moves such as this in order to protect their talent and their storylines as well as establish dominance over the other indy feds.

It's almost like what WWE did to Basham and Damaja.

I must say Vampiro was furthest from the person I thought the man would turn out to be. Sorry to say it but as of late, most mystery men in TNA lately have been subpar. Look at AJ's tag team partner from the Anniversary show. Sean Waltman? Puhleez.

I must say Vampiro was furthest from the person I thought the man would turn out to be. Is that a good thing? Vampiro will pull off some feud with Raven in the weeks to come. Let the promos begin!

Sorry to say it but as of late, most mystery men in TNA lately have been subpar. Look at AJ's tag team partner from the Anniversary show. Sean Waltman? Puhleez. Most mystery men? Who else? We also had the Franchise... what other disappointments were there? Sheesh.

Syxx-Pac was a last minute decision cuz Hall did not come through. Are you really watching TNA at all or just reading off the dirtsheets?
