Ugh, I just checked out the newly Upd@ted Blink site and there's an audio intro to the site that says "...and Blink keeps it clean, no potty mouth DJ's to freak you out when kids are listening...we think you'll like it!"

That is maybe the funniest selling point I've ever heard from a desperate radio station. Especially since this is New York. Maybe if they were broadcasting to people shopping at Wal-Mart in Omaha it would work, but even then I think it would generate more eye rolling than anything else.

"Potty Mouth" is one of my favorite phrases - I did an interview with Reggie Bannister a few weeks ago, and that's how he described Ossie Davis' character in the new movie BUBBA HO-TEP - we proceded to simulate a potty mouth Ossie calling Ruby Dee.
