Like former CIA Director James Woolsey, I feel that there is a connection between Al-Qaeda and Saddam Hussein. However, I never thought that Saddam was a 9/11 conspirator.

At a Pentagon (news - web sites) news conference, Rumsfeld was asked about a poll that indicated nearly 70 percent of respondents believed the Iraqi leader probably was personally involved.


"I've not seen any indication that would lead me to believe that I could say that," Rumsfeld said.

The reason we are in Iraq is because they have WMD's and could poissbly give them over to other countries and terrorist groups that want to do harm to America and American interests.

For the people who don't think they have WMD's need to realize that they had a lot of time to ship them else where or hide them. Its not like theres going to be a sign saying, "WMD's here!"
