Anyone else see the Matrix Revolutions commercials that were leaked onto the net? I finally got around to watching them tonight and they look so bad ass that I think the third movie will redeem the second.

I didn't have a problem with the second one.

It was a fun, GREAT-looking, exciting, dumb summer action flick packed with intelligent-sounding but ultimately vague self help-catchphrases, zen buzzwords and meaningless philosphies...just like the first one. So the third has little to none to "make up for" when I go see it. As long as ass is kicked with hyper-FX and a green tint to the camera filters, I'm set.

We like the kung-fu...the kung-fu that goes "BOOM!".

Sorry, ninny, I got it off a bittorrent site. Maybe I'll put them in the media section for everyone to check out.

Mojo, I just felt that Matrix 2 didn't have the same impact as the first. Even just the action sequences weren't as riveting. And the 10 minute bullshit dance/sex sequence was completely unneccessary.

Well, of course not. And neither will the third one, since we can't see it for the first time like we did with the first one. Or something.

And again, I guess I'm the only one, but I had no problem with the dance/scene. It made sense in the context and really didn't seem that long at all. Minus the speech (Which was 18,000 times more ridiculous), the whole scene was, what, 5 minutes, tops? And besides, nothing...NOTHING will ever be cheesier than the first's "I was supposed to fall in love with THE ONE" revelation. NOTHING.

The dance/rave scene made perfect sense. These people live underground. What the hell else is there to do?

Wait, I get it.

Geeks like their geek-food cold, sterile and with as little flesh as possible. That scene had sweat, bounce, jiggle, wiggle, nips, tits AND ass. I'm suprised theaters across the countries weren't ruined by exploding dorks.

I'm all for sex with my violence, the scene just didn't work for me. Reese had sex with
Sarah Connor. Arthur Dent had sex with Fenchurch. Superman had sex with Lois Lane. Montag had sex with Clarisse. Lenny Nero had sex with Faith Justin. All sci-fi sex scenes that I was fine with. It's just the one movie.

As for Reloaded, I agree with Mojo. The first one was just as windbagged and pretentious(sp?) as the first one. I just happen to enjoy that in a movie. :)
