New Fucking AIM Ad

I'm browsing the board just now and suddenly the 6 Million Dollar Man theme starts up. I'm thinking did one of the pages I just close do something? Was my comp hacked? Did someone fuck with the board?

The theme gets closer to the end and they say "AOL for Broadband," then I see the ad on AIM for AOL Broadband. It seems they're now using intrusive applets to annoy the fuck out of users and make them worried that their computers are fucked.

No, what I meant was that AIM on Mac doesn't have pop-ups at all. AIM just doesn't have pop-up capabilities on Mac. And you don't even have to use AIM for your screen name. If you want you can use iChat.

I hate all pop-up ads that have sound, in general. I admit, I cruise the 'Net when I'm at work. The worst is when it's all quiet in my office and then one pops up.

I especially hate IMDB. Sometimes I'll go back to the homepage and a trailer pops up.

I use DeadAIM and it removed all of the ad's on AIM.
