I don't play, but I know the basics because I sell the stuff for a living.

No, it's not that hard. Not as easy as Poker, but we're also not talking Advanced Squad Leader. If you can figure out Warcraft, your in like Flynn. It's map based, so you won't need a ruler like in Mage Knight. You will need something to use as tokens, I'd say ten or fifteen. They usually show glass counters in the pictures, but pennies will do find.

If your learning it with others noobs, ignore the colors for the first game or two. The options might be overwhelming. If your a fast learner who insists on knowing what the colors mean, tell the nancy to keep his pants on, you'll get to that.

Finally, do not PM me with rules questions. Like I said, I know the basics. I'm no where near qualified to be a judge, and I'll read your message in the voice of one of the damn eight year olds that calls my store and asks question that can be easily answered if they just looked in the rulebook. :mad:

(No, I'm not that mean to the kids, I'm just not paid enough to play tech support, IMO. If I know the answer, I give it to them. If I don't, I tell the poor kid to let his mommy look online for him.)

Heh, I actually like my job for once in my life. Telling the kids to stop bothering me and call WotC Tech Support gets me fired, or better yet, get their fucking mother to read the damn book to them, would get me fired. Absentee parents don't like to be called out for what they are, and thats where kids get the money to Dr0p twenty bucks on Magic, or pay $7 a pack for Yugioh cards.
