Which dishes and foods are personal favorites yet are constantly absent from menus? Also, if there is a reason or explanation to an entry in this thread please explain.
I'll open up with one of my favorites, Flank steak.

I like to take those Orange Marshmallow candy Peanut-shaped things and dip them in a mix of Bosco and Pickle juice.
Sometimes they just ask politely if I wouldnt mind leaving...

Hot dog and Bean casserole.
Nothing better than some beans and hot dogs bakes in a big dish. So simple, yet so good. I might think about trying it at a diner every now and then if it was offered.
