I thoght it was a good idea, though it was just really a way to build up the Frankie/Sabin fued. seing the talent they used in this, it proved the WWE have no idea how to run a cruserweight division....

...
BTW, those that were involved were in the international bracket: Juventud Guerrera (Mexico), Nosawa (Japan), Jonny Storm (England) and Teddy Hart (Canada). While the American bracket had: Jerry Lynn, Chris Sabin, Michael Shane, Frankie Kazarian and
Phenomenal tournament and the American's must be embarrassed by the tremendous showing from these foreign wrestlers. They put on a f*cking clinic with the matches they pulled off! THe American bracket seemed so ordinary... something that the WWE would throw out.
Teddy Hart blew me away with his talent. He WILL be a big star in this industry and will make the name Hart very proud!
PS: Sabin beat Juvi in the Finals. Total bullsh*t but like Evilpete said, they needed to further this already past its prime feud.

The opening round matches were short and simple, but that was more than made up with in the semis and the finals.
Hart should definitely get a job with the promotion after his work there, and I think they'd be wise to bite the bullet and offer Juvi a deal as well.
I have no problem with Sabin going over - he's not as talented or seasoned as some of the others, but he's NWA's guy, and they're (wisely) trying to make a draw with him.
