ok, i know everyone has been on the chairs edge waiting. so here:
spoon-91 motherfuckin ringer took 10 more from each of us
stickyfingers-108 not bad, closed stronger than everyone. Also, said the record for shortest tee shot at an amazing 12 yards.
Snoogans-116, real good. i started and played the front well, but i collapsed the last 4 holes and ended up with that prize of a score. also, needs to stop laying off my chips like a bitch.
Billy Staples-135? we scored pretty lenient on billy since its been awhile for him. didnt swing to bad, except for the 2 straight up swing and a misses. also had the original record of 16 yards until sticky's amazing tee shot on 17.
In fairness to stick, it was a goof shot with spoons driver, in fairness to billy, it doesnt matter what sticky used, 12 yards you can hit a golf ball with a plunger.

aside from alotta jokes, laughs, and the six and a half hours of golf, thats about it. im sure the rest of the guys will have shit to add

yeah it was a lot of fun. Billy took the brunt of the jokes but he was a good sport about it. The conditions were not very ideal for golf but I liked how it turned out. We had the course basically to ourselves with the exception of a foursome that sent someone out to buy us a couple of beers. Putting difficulty was the equivalent of trying to 'send' someone in bocce ball(due to wetness not lack of care)

As for my new record...I am happy with it, its a hard one to beat while taking a full swing. I will say this much. If you swing and miss didn't you basically hit the ball 0 feet, therefore breaking my record?

The scores will improve as time goes on but this was only the second time i've gone golfing this year and the first time i've played more than the first 9. Oh yeah, and we kept pretty strict rules...penalty strokes and no mulligans so before you judge the scores think about your average round and tell me how closely you keep score and what the conditions are

And, aside from the slight wagers(skins format) that were put on the game it was all about going out on a teusday afternoon and having some fun, in which case mission accomplished.


Correction: I only lost 2 bucks as I managed to take 4 of the 18 available skins

Also, there were some funny ass one liners thrown out there too bad I am too tired to remember them right now

This was and is totally open to all H. And if your that good, bring it. Truthfully I think a 108 in that weather wasn't that bad, and Sticky hasn't played that long. If the conditions on the greens alone were better, we could all probably knock off 9 per score. Then factor in the shitty hard ass sand, the sponge-like fairways that helped flop many a pitch or 9-ish shot, and you have yourself another 5 strokes or so over the round. For myself I battled as much as I could, and a 91 is about my average. Hence I'm not pissed at all. I just hope your not the type of player Sticky was hinting at. One who scores on the card an 85, but really hit a 105. We played straight up, no Mulligans and worst of all very little beer. That last factor alone could have made the scores that much better.

Next time we hope to have a jacket for the latest champ. And if we need to schedule two foursomes or two groups of three, all the better. As far as I'm concerned all are welcome. All except Funk and Moe..... punk asses!

Billy's 16 yard drive was amazing, yet Sticky managed to supass this with a stellar 12 yarder of his own. I just thank God it wasn't me bc this crowd was ruthless.

staples is dilusional. i didnt break any rules. if a rock is under your ball, you get relief, just like casual water and from the path. so yes, if anyone else would have been on a rock, it would have been moved. how come no one is on spoon for the off-green lift, clean and place. and btw billy, its tough to know what rules i said about softball when you were 4 hours late. :)
i had a really good time though, no one actually cheated, we all kept it pretty fair. staples needs to learn how to drive golf carts though

ill have you know that that golf club was purchased with money i earned from work. i only showed how much the one was cause i had just fucked it up, hence making a joke about why i bought it. btw, that 1 club is also only 60 bucks less than the rest of them total, and it really bothered me that i pussed off it so much.

but might have been if I was healthier than I was yesterday..but no excuses...I carry my head high, knowing what my score was and that it was LEGIT

torn hamstring, pulled groin, still healing abdominal sac and against my therapists and surgeons advice I still showed up.

billy, you were way further west than them. they are bergen, rockland, and passaic county. the closest course to the JW's is only 40 min from your house.
next time in fairness, its gonna be a bit closer to stick, but after that, who knows. rockleigh isnt a bad one, its pretty inexpensive and its right near the palasades parkway in bergen county
and btw, the course isnt near my house. just cause im the only one who knew how to hit a gas pedal, i still had what should have been an hour trip.

You're so off on this it isn't funny, like that 285 yard drive the first time. The "man made" post I removed was a ground under repair post on the fairway right in front of the green and directly in line with the pin I was aiming for. As for your rock, and I'm not trying to be a dick here, you weren't even in the rough. In fact, you were a few inches from the woods on the far side of the cart path in a decent ditch. The rock was behind your ball and hidden. You took a swing, not knowing it was there, nubbed the ball a little, got pissed and decided that it didn't happen. You are on the verge of hitting a sub 100 round, don't do it this way. Snoogs then took a Dr0p and it wasn't on the wrong side of the cart path, it wasn't in a bad position in a ditch, it wasn't even in the same bad rough, he almost put it in the middle of the fairway and took his shot.

In Snoogs defense though, I did wipe a shit load of mud off my ball early on. In truth, that is a penalty too, yet I thought we were all going to allow that due to the weather. We did have the rake rule as a gentleman's agreement.

As for Billy, you didn't take any practice swings bc you ran out of energy after the third hole. As for the cupping of the hat, I didn't wear one. The socks ARE my girlfriend's, and she cut the puff balls dam her! And the spin was the true highlight of the day. I'm glad you two lived (good move driving with Snoogs, thanks buddy).

i never hit the ball. i rang the rock and the club came right up. if i had hit the ball after the rock, then its my fault and yes, the shot counts. i didnt think i hit the ball, the rock stung my hands a little. if i did, then add 1 shot to my score
