I just got the Land of the Lost dvd box set today. I loved this show as a kid. But I forgot just how campy this show was.

And those sleestak bastards still give me the creeps.

Whats Holly look like now?

I'd go on a "routine expedition" with her (http://www.landofthelost.com/hollytoday.cfm)

I remember the episode where they found this other traveler's letters which described how his friend got back home and he in turn went to do the same thing. They attempted to follow the trail but in the end, it was TRULY a DEAD END.

Did they ever eat Chaka?

I also liked the cool chess board that you put the colored stones, put it in correctly and you get the gateway to go home. Too bad that broke.

What was the name of the intelligent slestack? I forgot and didn't he die in the t.v. show.

Thanks

The Ron and Fez show transcends all boundaries!

Land of the Lost was one of my favorite shows of all time. Perfect combination of SF and camp (and I don't mean the kind with tents). I am ecstatic to hear about the DVDs.

And thanks to the link from ozzie, I found a list of writers for the show. Holy Hotlist, look at this:

Ben Bova
David Gerrold
Walter Koenig
Larry Niven
Norman Spinrad
Theodore Sturgeon

So it turns out I haven't been completely bonkers all these years.

I never watched this show. But I saw the feature on VH1's I Love the 70's. It looked very cheesy and funny. Chaka cracked me up.
