I'd shoot a man in the face to get the Toyota Celica back to the way it looked in 1984.

No car should be remade or brought back, even though it would be cool to have them around, since most cars today suck. Whenever a car company tries to make a new car while using the name of a past popular car, it ruins everything. Just leave the cars alone. The classics should stay classics, and not have them reborn of have cars sold under the name of classic cars.

I agree with Melrapuo's post. But I know if a car company owns the rights to a classic, they're gonna rape that name until they can't sell it anymore.
So, I voted yes, as I'd rather see car companies put out "retro" models of long running lines instead of just using the badge on crappy models. like the Thunderbird, the T-Bird of the 1970's 1980/90's sucks ass, and has NOTHING in common with the 1950's T-Bird. but the 2002 T-Bird is cool even if not as cool as the real classic T-Bird. I hear they're planning "retro" model's of the 1960's T-Bird and, as mentioned, the 1960's Mustang Mach 1

i loved my 88' Cougar... i had bought it new and i had over 160k before having a problem(blown headgasket) other than normal maintenance. It had the armrest in the back with a couple of reading lights in the back as well. The interior was cloth brown and it looked almost new to the very end, people always complimented the car. It ran for another 25k before the headgasket blew again. i got it fixed but sold it soon afterwards, there was some other damage inside the engine. I sold it in 98' A neighbor here in Jackson had a friend from the city who loved Cougars. The guy from the city owned it 3 years. Then i saw the car out in front of my neighbors house last year "for sale" again. Not sure if anyone bought it but i don't see it anymore.
i wouldn't mind buying one brand new again...
mine was like the one below...

I'm hoping the Camaro/Firebird comes back. I wasn't a big fan of them for the last few years but it just doesn't feel right that they aren't around anymore. I would also love to be able to buy a brand new 1969 Nova.

Id like to see a remake of this or other classic muscle cars of the late 60's, early 70's.

I'd agree with that only if they were made EXACTLY like they were back then
