i remember brands like fisher, quasar, emerson, akai, and sylvannia

fisher made the best vcrs back in the day. i had a 4 head fisher vcr that was one of the 1st ones to look fairly modern.

who can forget the ever popular commodore series of computers

Back in the 1980's, I bought the biggest ghetto blaster the store had to offer. It was a "Contec" and it rocked the whole neighborhood. It took like 10 or 12 D batteries.

I believe all of these still exist. My sister has a Fischer DVD. I've seen Emersen products in Radio Shack and K-Mart, plus I see Sylvania tvs in the store. I have an Akai radio I bought in Sam's Club a few months ago.

Commodore Amigas are even still breathing life...but barely.

In my opinion, there's nothing in this world beats a '52 Vincent and a red headed girl.
