im debating whether or not i should get this game. i know that the cube version has link, and thats the only reason i would purchase this game. tell me what u guys think, especially if you have played it.

I consider myself a Value Gamer...always buying games used or two years after they have been released, once the price hits rock bottom (Just bought and finished Metal Gear Solid 2 last month...that sort of thing).

Soul Caliber 2 I will pay full price for....and how!

If I'm not mistaken, the Cube version has Link, Xbox has Spawn, and PS2 has Heihachi.

I'll wind up getting it for PS2 anyway, because I mark for VOLDO~!

Yeah I was gonna pick it up today, but I called my local EBgames and said its not out until tomorrow.

Definetly the Gamecube version.

Wow, this is the best fighter I've played since...the original Soul Calibur.

I got the Xbox Version and love it. And its great playing it on my Small controllers, and the Xbox extra character rules.

Spawn Baby!

Mainly i use; Spawn, Killik, Rapheal and Yoshimitsu.

I love this game, and i normally hate fighters.

I just got this and I never played the original but I'm real impressed with this one. I'm still in the slamming all the buttons at random stage but I really like the quickness and ease of it the fighting system... Talim is definitly my favorite so far!

..lucky bastards, im gonna pick it up as soon as i get the cash, and im gonna master the shit out of ivy. I've been playing 2 for dreamcast and the only guy im good at is hwang i cant wait for two though. It sucks i got PS2, ive read the reviews and they say hentachi, whoever the fuck he is, sucks. I wish i had Spawn.

i'll probably pick it up for PS2, and that one has the special character Heihachi from Tekken. he uses no weapons

X-Box has Spawn. And I will play that as well, he has a sick Axe

and of course, Game Cube has Link.

I'll try them all, but they all have one new character in common, and i believe his name is Necrid. He's a Todd MacFarlane creation, definately a character i have to see in action.

who is your favorite soul caliber 1 or 2 characters?

I enjoy playing as Cervantes de Leon, the dreaded pirate.

but anywho, i've probably put agaout 40 or so dollars into my local arcade playing this game (without the new characters). In the console version, i have heard that you can buy new weapons and joke items for your characters. Come on you know you want to play Voldo with Tamberines

The best character that was also on Soul Calibur 1 has to be Kilik, in my opinion.

Each character has 12 weapons or so that you can buy with the gold you earn. Link's are the best without a doubt, because you actually recognize them. It's really rewarding when you can play with a fairy net and the the megaton hammer in a fighting game.
