Since I couldn't find an existing thread on these guys I'm starting one.
I saw them on Saturday at a small club on Long Island and was prepared for a "mail it in/cashing in on nostalgia" effort but I was surprised at how good they were. They did most of the old hits which still sounded great and a few new ones. John Ashton and Tim Butler were looking a little grizzled but Richard Butler is looking like a youngish comparative lit professor who gets laid a lot (and would have that night judging from the reaction of my female friends and the other women in the audience). They're coming back to the NY area next month if anyone's interested.
Old-timers are welcome to share any stories/reminiscences from back in the day.

There ain't no asylum here.
King Solomon, he never lived 'round here.
