this is not the same team we saw in april. its not even close. this team continues to impres me. and im loving it. i think the mets will be back in playoffs the season after next. and i think next year they will contend for the wild card. there is no more questions about reyes, he's batting over .300, and he is still playing clutch baseball. if he could get some more power, i would mention him in same breath as a-rod, nomar and jeter. wiggy is another solid rookie who continues to produce. and i dont know who killed cedeno and is wearing his skin Buffalo Bill style but im loving it. if they could just get some better pitching they will be the turn around team next season. i think the mets should go after millwood as their only free agent signing this coming offseason. i love watching this team.

The Mets do this every year now! They are clearly out of the race again, so they play loose and win more at the end of the year. They still suck and haven't a shot at catching the Braves next year or the Marlins, who are truly getting better. The only way to get better is to go after all the free agent talents of their interdivision rivals, and that didn't work the last time.

dick, the aforementioned statement dealt with any good veteran the mets try and pick up. cuz once they put on a met uniform they do suck. they fail to produce, where as the yankees can pick giambi and he is still close to mvp status. alomar was a shell of what he was on the orioles and indians. glavine? fuckin hell if the braves past on him u know he would suck.
