Who is the most underrated Yankee

This is a tough question to answer...at least that's what I think...I mean theres so many guys on the team that get so much attention like Jeter and Giambi for example...but anyway I think that the most underrated Yankee is Andy Pettite...I mean think about it he's been there for all the Yankee series wins since 96 and he's been pretty consistent even though he's been the subject of trade rumors on occasion...most of them to the Phillies...I mean he's a guy that every 5 days can come bring it...and there's no doubt that he has the best pickoff move in baseball....I realy hope that the Yankees keep him and don't let him leave as a free agent so they can go get another all star hitter like Vlad Guerrero for example

no. he's also been responsible for some of the worst postseason losses during this dynasty. game 1 in the '96 series, games 2 and 5 in the '97 division series, game 3 in the '98 lcs, and that debacle in arizona that was the 6th game of the '01 series. yeah, yeah, he was great in game 5 vs atlanta in '96, and again later on vs oakland, but THATS IT. i dont want him to have the ball when we need it most.

that said, i do want him back. and there is no underrated yankee.

I dont think there is any underrated Yankee, because alot of them are good. Theres only two i can think of and thats Nick Johnson and Ruben Sierra, but they arent really underrated, their decent.
