After what the way they treated the death of Herb Brooks as just another story, I am officially through with listening to Mike and the Mad Dog. Mike has always come across as an arrogant know-it-all. It seems like he is off for 25 weeks a year. I remember when they interviewed Vince McMahon about the XFL, a fan called up and made a negative comment about his buddy Bill Parcells and Mike hung up on him. And Mad Dog is......well he's Mad Dog. I always took his comemnts with a grain of salt.

I only listen to Mac and Sid, Steve Somers, and Joe Benigno. As well as all of the fill-ins like Richard Neer and Alan Ian Eagle.

Yea the Schmooze can be pretty bad at times, I seldom find his intros funny.....but hes much better then Richard neer. At times hes totally professional and at others he actually goes too far. Like the whold Mo Vaughn thing, damn he ragged him constantly untill he got hurt, and just 2 nights ago someone called about tennis and he spent the last 20 minutes belittling the "sport". Hes good at times
