Question about Kenetic watches

The question I have about kenetic Watches (it's a Seiko) is when I don't wear it for a long period of time, it does not function properly (ex. time appears to be off or it just plain out stops) when I wear it again. Why does it do this? It does not run on battery and "supposedly" it's suppose to rewind itself via movement when it's on my wrist.

Then why is my watch still acting up? You mean I have to wear the watch for the rest of my life for it to work?
I wore my watch today, set the watch to the correct time but 5 hours later, my watch was 1 hour off. WHY?

But when it is, your car works fine. Unlike my watch. Even though I TUNE it, it still acts up. Besides your car runs on battery, not kenetic energy.

True dat. But when you exit your car after it's been started, it still works and runs correctly. Unlike my watch. One time I went out to a function and it was 8:30 p.m. for 2 hours.

BUT it works when you plug it in. You don't have to leave the saw plugged in all the time to work properly. Unlike my watch, I don't usually wear it when I go to sleep.

The kenetic charge on Bill Clinton's watch lasted a couple of months.
It slowed him down for a while but after a slap on the wrist everything was ok.

In order for the mainspring of your watch to wind itself, it needs to use the KINETIC energy of your arms MOTION. If your NOT wearing it, are you assuming that the Earths rotation is causing the kinetic energy that spins the weight that winds your watches spring?
The movement of your wrist spins the weight that winds the spring that powers your watch that sets the time that keeps you punctual. if the watch is in your drawer and not on your wrist, then the weight that winds your watch by springing the spring is not spinning and the spring isnt springing and your watch isnt winding and your not punctual and your perception is that your watch isnt not functioning properly becuase your weights not spinning because your watch that needs to move to spin the weight that winds your spring is sitting in a drawer.

I have a similar problem with my watch. When I take the battery out of it, it stopps working and then even if i put the battery back in, the correct time never comes back. I have to reset the time all over again.
