Johnny Wadd (1973)

Holmes plays Johnny Wadd, who is on a case of a missing girl. The film basically takes place in one room as suspects to girl's friends and family enter in Wadd's beach pad asking him about the girl and having sex with him as a down payment for finding her. Chin is a clever filmmaker, and it's too bad he never went mainstream. it's also too bad that according to the film BOOGIE NIGHTS, this film didn't exist for Holmes started his career in the late 70's, when this film was made way before than. Hollywood can re-write history, but us fans know the truth.


Liquid Lips (1976)

John Holmes reprises his role as ultra hip detective Johnny Wadd who has been put on the case of shipments of narcotics entering San Francisco, by drug lord Tony Sorrento (Mike Weldon). Johnny teams up with a sexy young detective (played by Monique Starr) who will help stop a local drug cartel from hitting the streets. My favourite Chinn film, is extremely groovy adopting the typical pompous James Bond character transforming him into a bellbottom wearing sleazy stud, epitomising the disco era. The acting is great (especially from Holmes) with some classy monologues and dialogue exchanges. A must see!

This is a really inept film. I got the idea Ed Wood would smile down on this grainy thing. At one point, John C.
