I am currently using Earhtlink High Speed through a Time Warner cable. The pricing seems a lot better with either Road Runner, AOL Broadband or Verizon DSL does anyone have experience with any of these three services and which would you recomend?

Isnt it the other way around because DSL has it's own deticated connection? Whatever, cable for life!

AOL Broadband still requires you to purchase DSL or cable.
Cable is better. I found it to be more consistent, better customer service, less outages.

I have cable now (earthlink) through time warner. Although my main browser is msn though my account with them. Time Warner is offering a better deal packaging etiher AOL Broadband or Road Runner.
I had AOL dial up years ago and hated those aol endorsed pop up ads that I had to go through to get to a screen and there were other annoyance like trying to use IE or Netscape browser. Is this still the case or not

no. cable tv doesnt work worse when alotta people watch it. everyone who has it is always connected, so it doesnt change anything. DSL changes a phone line from analog to digital to carry more info. phone co gets busy, it slows down
i got optimum, no complaints

i got optimum, no complaintsno, SatCam is right. tv and data are completely different. sure, a million people could watch tv without any degredation, but cable modems use a shared pool for data and the more people that are tryig to use it at once, the slower it will run (depending what you do, you may not notice it)
dsl when you purcahse it gives you maximum speeds, but does not guarentee that you achieve those speeds consistently.

I have Optimum cable. I've heard roadrunner is good, and it's cheaper than a lot of cable (mine is $50, roadrunner is $40, I think). Whatever you do, dont be a fool and go with AOL. Besides wasting your money, you're also slowing down your connection.
