no this year shark week sucked. last year was a shitload better. other than them showing the guy and the girl getting attacked by sharks they had nothing of real interest. last year they told the story of a bullshark attacking 6 ppl off the jersey shore in one weekend, and it occured in the early 20th century. they are running out of ideas. they need to have more 'weeks' sprinkled throughout the year.

I am reading a book about this right now. It's called "Twelve Days Of Terror" by Richard G. Fernicola.

5 people attacked, 4 of them dead in 1916. 3 of the attacks happened in Matawan Creek, 16 miles inland.

The book is very detailed and also gives a great history of the Jersey Shore. I highly recommend it.

i think every year they tell that story so the people know bull sharks can go into fresh water. the best show is the one with the african great whites that jump 15 feet outta the water and grab seals on the way up. i think it was a last year thing too, but they re showed it.
