The new album from Thursday should be hitting shelves in early September and I for one cannot wait. There is a single out now for "For The Workforce, Drowning" and it is pretty good. That song is off a split release with the AMAZING Thrice.

From all of my sources I am hearing this is going to be one collossal record. I expect no less from these guys as Full Collapse completely took over my turntable for the better part of 2001.

The first video/radio track, "Signals Over The Air" sounds ok as well but not as much punch as I was expecting.

They play Krome and Irving Plaza with the MIGHTY Death By Stereo in September! YAY!

Kindest Regards, Your Fluff

Good, good band.

Like The Smiths fused with Fugazi. Nice.

Too bad they kickstarted a mini-"Screamo"/naming your band after days of the week explosion with crappy bands like Taking Back Sunday, Boy Sets Fire and The Used. Oh well.

Boy Sets Fire should not be lumped with the "Thursday" followers Taking Back Sunday and The Used. If anything BSF helped to fuse the fire that became Thursday. BSF has been around since 1994/95 with their first release (This Crying, This Sceaming, My Voice is Being Born) on The Magic Bullet label in 1996.

Bands like BSF, Hot Water Music and At The Drive-In took Thursday out on tour when "Waiting" was out.

More pointless musical info from yours truly.

Yes, I saw my first live Thursday show when they were supporting BSF. I still hate them and think they are awful.

That is all.

Nothing off of Full Collapse really grabbed me but i'm going to see them in September. Maybe seeing them live will spark some of my interest.

Im not a fan of them that much. They are too much like that "The Used" crap. Screeming + Talking softly or even whispering? I don't like it.

Yeah but Thursday was doing it way before The Sued and their singer has enough sense not to be nailing Bacon Osbourne. I scoff at these new-up-and-coming bands who act like they are so "REAL" and have been with it for a long time.
