The Franchise Shane Douglas or HHH???
I take Douglas because he has great mic skills, and he's not a fraid to Dr0p a belt once in a while, he realizes that it HELPS his character if he does that once in a while...

how about benoit?
he should move to raw and get their title, and set-up a title for title at mania 20. angle benoit would b the greatest match they can produce at this point.

Nobody gives a promo like Douglas...
He could be dead and still be entertaining...
He just has that sort of "prescence" that you can't teach...

If anyone should make a jump from brands, it's none other than Rob...Van...Dam. If he was on Smackdown, he'd already would have held the title.

Douglas is pure gold on the stick. But his body can't hack it anymore. He hasn't had a good match since he wrestled Taz for the last time at the ECW arena. And even then, he was sucking up his injuries.

it depends on which versions of the aforementioned wrestlers you are talking about. If it is the late 90's Triple H and Shane Douglas I would go with Shane, but if meaning this years versions, I hate to say it but Triple H might have him. Shane seems like he has lost all his passion for the sport since working for XPW.

well, I think that Evilpete meant that if you had your own fed, would you have rather have HHH or Douglas be your champ?

You're kidding right? Why do you think RVD would become champion by moving to Smackdown? What's your logic?

Listen the champ needs to be big. In size I mean. Make RVD champ and people know in reality hes not the best. Even if it is fake and staged

Because he was orignally planned to go to Smackdown while Paul Heyman was still a writer for WWE. If he were to have gone there, they would have immediately put him into the title run. His talent is wasted on RAW. Smackdown is where he really needs to be.

Ok, lemme just shoot down Johnee's little theory on RVD as being a champ first.
Saying that RVD "isn't the best" is a joke! The god honest truth as you, I and every wrestling observer with half a brain knows is that RVD is the best performe the WWE have today. Hands down! Even though he is only 6'0", he still puts on one hell of a show and makes opponents like Triple H look good, which is darn near difficult to do. I won't even bring up the fact that he toned down a lot since ECW when he injured himself and is yet still the best in the business. Just because he isn't "big" doesn't mean people wouldn't believe he's the best. Come on, HE PROVES HE'S THE BEST IN EVERY ONE ON ONE MATCH.
With that being said I'll bring up, "the real LAME Brock Lesnar". I'll begin by stating the facts: his move set is unbelievably limited to where you can count all his possible moves on one hand which are the body press, over head belly to belly, and the F-5. TELL ME WHAT ELSE DOES HE DO? Lesnar has little to no mic skills, and his acting flat out sucks. Sure he has his night were he sells it to you, but it's not consistent. the only reason why he's uppercard is because, DUH, HE'S FREAKIN HUGE! When will you people understand that the WWE pushes guys who are big in height or muscular definition than those with real talent. I mean, look at Kevin Nash. He's almost a friggin giant and he's gettin push even though he moves like a chair in the ring with a move set that has to options, the big boot, or the powerbomb. They could've at least told him to do the jack-knife powerbomb so it looks a little more dramatic.
With this said, I'll quickly get backon topic and close by saying, Shane Douglas would be better. Triple H is way too sloppy and unoriginal to entertain me.

I forgot about this during my rant.
The logic is, there's not much guys with the fan pull to be the champ in the uppercard in Smackdown. Wait, there's really not much guys in the uppercard at all. Let's count folks, Brock, Kurt, and Big Show. THATS 3! Hmmm, toss in Undertaker and A-train and ya got 5. Now, the best champ out of the 5 is really Brock, even though I don't like to admit it, because he has more edge over the rest of time. Sure Kurt Angle beats the steroid pumpin retard with overall skill, but I do admit that it looks weird for Kurt to have the belt, and Brock not to. Putting RVD in the mix screws it all up to the point where you HAVE to give him the title because there's no way RVD could put Brock over to make it look "legit". Brock isn't as fast nor does he have enough skill. Nor can he compete with RVD's huge move set. If any one wants to say RVD's move set is small, IM me on aim so I can list all his moves.

My friends, it's people like HTH with statements and opinions such as these which keep Mr. McMahons head a float.
Boy, I never ever thought I'd hear someone say that, and then in the same breath say Kurt Angle keeps SD in the runnings. SD sucks, and it's people like Matt Hardy, and Shelton Benjamin that keep me watching.
