When I was a kid, I had this inflatable robot in my room, I remember it being like 3 or 4 feet high. It was silver and had a motorized base and on the sides of its head these handle-like projections. I imagine it was the early to mid 70's when I had this I have been trying to figure it out for many years as to what it looked like exactly and if there is any pictures of it anywhere. Ive scoured antique toy websites and tried many word combinations in image search engines and never had any luck. Does this sound familair to anyone? You may have the missing key to a lost part of my childhood!

can't say that i recall that particular one...
but i did have a 'blowup punchingbag clown' that had sand in the bottom so it would pop back up to be punched again and again...

I think my brother had that robot your talking about. But we were too young to play with the motorized stuff. It was for the feet i think to make it move. But it did make a good floating device for the swimming pool though. But i think it was more dark grayish than silver.
