Long Story Short:
My wife works at an animal hospital. Person brings in a Bull Mastiff to be checked for rabies, since it's acting wierd.
Owner + Kid + Dog Comes In. Dog goes in back room with a Tech.
People hear yelling, doors slamming and a dog sounding like it's killing Everyone.
The tech makes it out of the room; arm bitten, scross the street to the Emergency Medical place.
The Dog Owners kid is heard yelling over and over that he doesnt want to go home with the dog.The Dog's Owner, hearing what happened; throws a blank check at the front desk, yells 'Just Kill it!' and books. In the car and Gone.
Four Police cars, with K-9 guys and Animal Control with the big leather sleeves and lassos arrive.
Dog gets lasso-ed; they have to euthenize it on the spot as everyone in the office is in tears, shock, or both.
Then one of the vets has to decapitate it to send the head to be checked for rabies and a few dozen other things. That, she said, looked like a murder scene.
The Owner it is found to have raised a dog with zero discipline, after buying a dog thats bigger then most people on this board, not knowing whether it's agressive ot not.
My wife was Not Psyched.
