Not to sound Seinfeldian or anything but I spend most of my time thinking about stupid shit, things like how a trombone works and why we drink cold drinks through straws, but not hot drinks. It's not as though I don't have anything else to think about, I just prefer to spend my time contemplating who the first people to say "A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush" or other cliche phrases were, and whether or not they knew the legs their phrases would have. Really, really meaningless, valueless stuff.

You arent alone, my friend. I too enjoy pondering all the odd things that pop into my consciousness. Its natural and its actually abnormal to NOT wonder this stuff! If it wasnt for thinkers and tinkerers, we would still be living in caves. On the other hand, if you found yourself unable to function because of this, Id say there was a problem, but that doesnt seem the case. If you look at some of the greatest minds of our time, youll see that they too thought this way. Look at the works of Leonardo Davinci! Fucking guy practically invented flight like 300 years ago!
