i just threw my sister her bachelorette party this past weekend. among our activities for the evening was attending a strip club. everyone had a really good time there, except for me. i dont know, i just found the whole thing to be pretty boring. it was interesting for maybe the first fifteen minutes or so, because i'd never been to a male strip club before. but, after that, i was done. how long can you watch naked men dance around for? i've seen enough naked men in my life to make the whole thing entirely uninteresting to me. but this isn't really my point..

the women in the club were, in general, all over the strippers. male strippers are a lot different from female strippers. female strippers can touch you, but you basically can't touch back. the males, on the other hand, encourage (some even force) you to touch them. it's a weird scene.

there were all these bachelorettes there, women who will be getting married in a matter of weeks. and some of them had their hands (and other body parts) all over these strippers... and they were loving it. the whole thing bothered me. if you are really into the person you are with, which you presumably are since you plan to marry them, why in the hell would you want to go around shoving dollars in some random guy's g string, and having him stick his head in your crotch? if you're so interested in other men, marriage probably isn't the way to go.

now, maybe i'm taking all of this too seriously, i have a tendency to do that. but the things that go on in these places just doesn't seem right to me. it's a socially acceptable form of cheating. just because it's done at a strip club, people allow and even condone it. there were women about to be married (and some married, and some in relationships, etc) kissing, fondling, and being handled by other men. how is that ok?

i guess i just don't get it... but i definitely have no interest in going to one of these places for my bachelorette party.

I see what you're saying Ari and I used to feel exactly the same, but I've changed my views somewhat.

Now I can't speak from experience since I have never been to a female or male strip club but I would like to. It doesn't bother me if my boyfriend wants to go every once in awhile with his friends but I think it's important that he tells me about it and that he's comfortable enough not to feel like I would jump down his throat for going. I'm not threatened by him seeing naked girls, especially girls that only want his money. So I have no doubt about how he feels for me, but I can also see that he'd like to see some boobies every once in awhile.

We also decided we would go one time together just to see how it is and if I like it I'll be open to going sometimes. So I see both sides, but just steer clear of them unless it's a mandatory situation like a bachelorette party.

In June I went to a male strip club for my friend's bachlorette party. I didn't really enjoy it. I mean it was funny to watch my friend and her little sister practically get anally raped but I didn't find any of it pleasurable.
