Tight Sweaters on TV

The discussion about hitting Markie Post has reminded me about women in many of the 1980's TV shows: tight sweaters.

I don't know, but maybe growing up and watching these women week after week has given me a facination with women wearing tight, wool sweaters.

I can remember the mother from Mr. Belvedere, Ilene Graff and the late Mary Fran, who played Joanna Louden on Newhart, flaunting their sweater puppies, if you will. I remember Joanna Kearns on Growing Pains also did this.

Heck they did that also in the B&W shows of the 1960's.
Jun Cleaver, girls from the Avengers, Gilligan's Island, Munsters, Addams Family, etc. Just watch those old shows and see for yorself. Some of those ladies were stacked and all real.

Not the best picture I could find but Lydia Cornell ALWAYS did it for me when I watched Too Close For Comfort.

Ted Knight also did it for me but in a completely influential way. Cosmic Cow was a huge influence.
