I generally can't stand the candy peddlers on the subway, but in the case of this one girl, I'll make an exception. She's a real entrepreneur.
She's so friendly and outgoing - she puts on this corny sunshine sweet act, talking about how delicious the candy is, and people go for it big time. Suffice it to say she doesn't have any problem selling her candy.
On the other hand, you have these annoying kids who come on the train and startle you (MAY I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE!!!), followed by some bullshit story about selling candy for basketball uniforms. followed by "God Bless" (oh, such good kids, they probably just came from church).
They insult your intelligence. Unlike the candy girl, they never seem to sell any of their Starburst or Peanut M&Ms.
