411wrestling caught the WWE in the act a while back as they gave the belt to Triple H when RVD beat him FAIR AND SQUARE. WWE.com reported RVD won the world championship, thus unifying it with his then intercontinental championship. Then they changed the statement saying RVD got the win but just held up both belts. More here... http://www.411mania.com/wrestling/news/newsboard.php?news_id=3907

HHH is in the good graces of the McMahon family right now and, let's not forget, he's marrying the boss' daughter. Much can be said for nepotism and HHH knows that.

I swore that when I saw that match it was just a match before they're PPV match. He just held the title up as a warning that he would win the title.

He's had the title for 9 months straight (not to mention HBK had it less then a month, before that HHH had it for about 3 more). He never loses and his friends never lose. Its been clear for a while that Trips is part of the problem with todays WWE.

I thought Goldberg was not in good graces because he refused to do the australian tour, thats why instead of the one on one match-up at SS its a 6-way challenge.
Plus if HHH loses he may not necessarily get pinned to lose the title so that he looks stronger
But on a more serious note who in the WWE could run with the title right now other then Jericho and maybe Orton, Micheals cant bring it anymore, Nash is to injury prone, Goldberg is a prima donna
They should have put the belt on booker when he had alot of heat going for him back in the early summer
One more thing anyone possibly see Jonathan Coachman managing Kane later on....After Coach was laughed off the set and Kane doesnt like people laughing at him i think it would make a great paring as Kane really is pretty weak on the stick

I don't think this would work. Coach is an interviewer not a manager. Bring back Paul Heyman for Kane and that would be smart.
SEEE YAA!!!
