I got a new phone recently that allowed me a couple of free, downloadable ringtones.

I have been using "Can't You Hear Me Knocking" by the Stones. I'm about to use "Beat on The Brat" by the Ramones.

What does your phone sound like? (and none of those "Can you hear me know?" jokes)

In 1998 I had to get AT&T because I travel a lot, and they offered the onerate plan that was and still is most economical. I often up my minutes on a busy month, skim them down on a regular month, but I am still on a onerate plan.

Anyway, my first phone with AT&T was the best Nokia they made. I got used to the Nokia layout and format, and so every year since then I upgraded to the best Nokia phone, and they always gave it to me for free, providing I signed up for another year contract.

For years (probably 1999 - 2002) I had Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds. And it was a good rendition. I liked it. I kept it.

Last year I upgraded to the newest Nokia phone again. And when I went to down the file They had changed it. The tune was Different. They employed some different MIDI method of playing it. And started it from the Wrong Part of the song. So that it was Different.

I switched to Tomorrow Never Knows. I like it, but I wish I had the old version of LSD back.

Bastards.

Right now it's the theme from SWAT just because it was free and I wanted to test out if everything was set up for my phone before I paid for any.

The 2 that I'm trying to find are the Peanuts theme (Which I found but wasn't on nextel), and El Bimbo, which is the song for the Blue Oyster from the Police Acadamy Movies. Just to have something different.

I'm also thinking about the Indiana Jones theme because I'm getting excited about the series coming out on DVD.
