After 3 quarters of the first preseason game its apparent to you they suck.
10 yard Average for Stephen Davis in his 5-8 minutes of playing, Total of 80+ yards. Way to go Defense. And NOBODY GETS SHUT OUT BY THE CAROLINA PANTHERS.

Last year everyone was ecstatic when the redskins trounced the 49ers in the first preseason game, and we see where that led to, a 7-9 record with substandard talent. This year the talent level is greatly increased (other then the suspect d line) and Ramsey is the guy of the future, Rob Johnson is the 2nd string and Wuerfuell is there more as a player/coach to show Ramsey the system more so then he is the 3rd quarterback (thats why they drafter Gilbran Hamdan from Indiana) but a person who knows nothing about the team wouldnt know that. The redskins had one of the best offseasons in football, are playing in a weak division (the depletion of the Eagles D will hurt more then people realize, plus Duce is holding out and they have no #1 reciever and the Cowboys plain suck)
The Redskins beat the crap out of the 49ers cause Spurrer keeps his first line in, and thinks pre-season means something stat wise. Ramsey is the future and will be a star in Washington if he gets a team around him that allows him to do it. The Acquisition of Coles was a step forward. But how will Wuerfful teach Ramsey the system when he can't even execute it properly in the NFL. As for the division, its a better chance than this year, but the Eagles will take it like always.
Ladell Betts is the back of the future but you chose to neglect him from the mentioning and to call Canidate a bust in the first preseason game is ludicrous especially since they are running there vanilla offense.

And dont bring up Stephen Davis, I loved the man here as a redskin but no way would i want the franchise to carry his $13.5 million dollar cap hit, it doesnt make sense, but again you know very little about football and the redskins so i will forgive that
Spurrier is too stupid to keep a good player like Davis, and Im glad hes not on the skins anymore, cause even if he does cost a shit-load he'll produce for whoever he plays for. Remeber last year? Yah Kenny Watson, he did a shit-load, and Spurrier rarely used Davis.
And really you criticize spurrier when Wandestadt is the coach of your franchise, not to mention with Norv Turner who couldnt succeed in D.C. as the O-coordinator, and Jay F'n Fiedler is your franchise QB really do some learning about this game before commenting, i have forgotten more about football then you will ever possibly know
HAHAHAH, Hey Hey, nice 7-9 season Spurrier. At least Wandstedt had a chance at the playoffs. Even though I hate him for being associated with Jimmy Johnson. Oh and Fiedler! Hey I believe he won MORE GAMES THAN ALL THREE OF THE REDSKINS QB's and He was injured for a good 4-5 games, forcing Lucas in who blows ass. And try and start on "oh you didnt" make the playoffs, well its hard for Ricky Williams to carry the team when the passing game as gone to shit without Fiedler.
