I steal hotel shampoo

OK, I don't start threads in this confessional too often but sometimes you just need to vent.

I travel a lot on business and stay at decent hotels. But not every hotel will give you good shampoo or enough of it to use. That's why when I stay at a hotel that has decent shampoo in those little bottles, I'll either give the chambermaid a buck or two for about 10 bottles or just steal them off her trolley if she's not looking.

They're great when I travel because I never have to use a full size bottle of shampoo. I also take with me anything else that they have that I may use (i.e. mouthwash, sewing kit, shoe mitt, etc.).

If they didn't check the mini-bar, I'd clean that out too.

I feel so dirty. But then again, I have extra shampoo and soap so I can wash that feeling right away!

Technically, it is. I don't pay for the room, my company does. SUCKERS!

They also paid for my room service cheeseburger with french onion soup and buffalo wings for dinner last night. I use EVERY cent of my per diem.

When I finish the hotel shampoo, I refill it with "Evel Eds All Natural Conditioner" after I leave so the next person can feel close to me.

One time in Wisconson I think it was, there was a huge 2 day Metal show, so there were a lot of Metal fans in the local hotels.

In a fit of "coolness" all the "evil" kids threw their comlimentary room bibles out their windows. It was stupid, but I had to chuckel as I looked out the window and saw about 2 dozen green bibles sitting in the bushes and on the pavement.

But anyway, we take everything too while on the road. Our bassist Jenn took the ashtrays a few times and puts them around her house. And I think we took a pillow a few times to use in the car.

James, if you were staying in a "quality" hotel, the mini-bar would be monitored by computer and your mini-bar balence would be posted on a channel on the TV.

I stay in 4 star hotels, haha.

It's not really stealing. Most places probably restock the little shampoo bottles after your stay.

Do you drink some of the liquor and fill it up with water too?

I've stayed at a couple of hotels in the last year that use the shampoo where the cap clips on instead of screws on (I think it was a Sheraton in Ca) Its not worth stealing the fuckers because any amount of pressure on the bottle makes the shampoo leak out.
My thing at hotels is to bring a pair of pliers and remove the water saver from the shower head. In two minutes I go from no presure at all to a great shower. I hate those low pressure showers that take forever to get you wet and even longer to rinse.

I takes the shampoos home and pour them into a bigger container of shampoo. I keeps the soap, too.

I still have the plastic key card to a Motel 6 or something from like Virginia in my car. It'll probably be there forever.
