Ireland.

My parents have a beautiful cottage outside of Limerick. I already speak the language, and I love the culture. I looked into working there when I was in INS. The US Government pays for housing and partial living expenses to the inspectors at Shannon and Dublin.

Second choice, England.

Third choice, Belgium.

I always thought Australia was gonna be where I ended up.

The damn place has something like 90% it's population in 2% of its area. Dundee aside, it does look pretty cool.

I'd also be out on the Great Barrier Reef looking for great white sharks.

And I thought australia might be safe if the super-powers did have a full-blown nuclear war.

You beat me to it!! I was in Australia (Melbourne) when I was in the service- I absolutely loved it!! The people there really love Americans and the climate is great!!! My dad was stationed in Australia in WWII when he served in the sub service and he felt the same way about it that I do. He also hinted that I may have a half- brother or 2 there that I may want to meet!!!!!

most carribean islands do not use american money. the ones that do are US territories. and thsoe are mostly in the northern carribean. the southern carribean are all self-contained nations.

actually many carabean countries do use US currency on the street in conjunction with their own. Their markets are flooded from us residents sending the money "home".
